Problem Determinants

Therefore, it is particularly crucial during pandemics to breathe clean, fresh air, practice social distance, and isolate yourself from others. However, accomplishing this in congested and enclosed spaces is challenging.

Solution

  • Description – Eir is an intelligent IoT-based real-time indoor air quality monitoring system that employs intelligent sensors & algorithms to co - operate across a network of devices to warn the user and anticipate the vulnerability of disease transmission based on the collectively recorded data that can be exported for CFD analysis, Systems simulations, etc.

  • Results Achieved – Overall this system identifies the causes of the abrupt degradation in the Indoor Air Quality inside the test environment by providing the real-time gaseous parameters plot and the observed simulation contour based on the CFD analysis tested inside the micro-environment resulted by declaring, that the stagnant CO2 build-up and the improper levels of O2 and Relative Humidity increase the disease transmissibility from person to person with a prediction accuracy of 87%. This system is applicable in the areas where crowd control management and indoor air quality management are required to sustain and promote good health and well-being within communities of people.
